Both arms are contested, left and right, across weight classes that run from under 80 kg to super-heavyweight, with an open class for women.

By March 2025 the series had staged 17 numbered events, from EvW 1 in June 2021 to EvW 17, at a pace of four to five cards a year. The 2021 and 2022 seasons were held entirely in Turkey, between Istanbul and Yalova; Tbilisi and the American venues came later. The events carry numbers rather than city names, so EvW 12 or EvW 16 identifies a card wherever it was held. The results that define the series so far: Levan Saginashvili of Georgia beat Devon Larratt 4:0 at EvW 12; Larratt, from Canada, had beaten Denis Cyplenkov at EvW 10; John Brzenk of the United States took Oleg Petrenko 3:0 at EvW 5 at the age of 57; Italy's Ermes Gasparini won at EvW 1 and beat Michael Todd 3:0 at EvW 16. Those parameters do not change from one event to the next. A 3:0 recorded in Istanbul and a 3:0 recorded in Orlando were pulled under the same rules and the same format, which makes results inside the series directly comparable. What to look at before placing a bet

  • The arm. A puller can be dominant right-handed and ordinary on the left. The card states which arm the duel is on; the price only makes sense together with that information.

  • The weight. Note the class of the fixture and each athlete's record inside that class, rather than his results across all classes.

  • The style. Top roll (pulling the fingers and hand outward), hook, press. Two opposite styles produce very different rounds, and a static hold rewards the puller who keeps his position longer.

  • Past results in the series. Earlier scores between the same two names, or against common opponents on other EvW cards, are the most direct reference available, because format and rules are identical from event to event.
