Combatsport. Oktagon: the pre-match fight card
Combatsport. Oktagon is the group a mixed martial arts or grappling promotion holds in the pre-match line. Each bout it has booked appears here as a separate event, with both fighters, the scheduled date and the start time.
One fight night, many bouts
The Combatsport. Oktagon list runs in order of start time. Bouts from the same night follow one another on the same date, each with its own slot, and the edition name sits under the two fighters.
That time is a guide. The site takes no responsibility for a gap between the listed slot and the real one: a bet is settled on the actual start of the bout, as set out in the organiser's official documents.
Single, accumulator or system
With several bouts on one page, the choice of bet type comes up quickly. The rules provide three:
Bet type | What the ticket holds | How the return is worked out |
|---|---|---|
Single | one outcome on one bout | stake times the price |
Accumulator | several outcomes from different bouts | stake times every price combined; one losing leg loses the ticket |
System | several accumulators of the same size built from a fixed selection | the returns of all those accumulators added up |
An accumulator only takes events that are independent of one another. Two outcomes from the same bout, say a fighter to win and a total of rounds, count as related, and the accumulator then drops the one with the lower price. Once the bet is confirmed, the ticket moves into the account history, where its status can be checked at any point until settlement.
When the number of rounds changes
A promotion can alter the scheduled length of a Combatsport. Oktagon bout. Bets on the result of the fight then stand, while bets on the number of rounds are settled at odds of 1, which simply returns the stake.
Groups for the other promotions are in the Martial Arts section. To place a bet on Combatsport. Oktagon, you need an account opened in Algerian dinars.
