Special bets: a group of special bets
Special bets belongs to the special bets section of the pre-match line. There are no fixtures and no scores here: every event in the group asks a single question about a public fact, most often outside regular sporting competition, and the bet is decided once that fact has been established.
What the group and its questions show
Element | In the Special bets list | On a question page |
|---|---|---|
Date and time | shown above each title | repeated at the top of the page |
Title | the group's theme, then the question itself | the page heading, with the group name just below it |
Answers | hidden behind the All events button | the Event block, one line per answer with its price |
Next to the group name, a bracketed number gives the count of questions inside. Some titles end with a year, and that year is part of what is being asked. On the French and Arabic versions of the site, a share of the questions and group names stays in English.
What settles a question
Bets are settled on the results the site itself declares, and a dispute over a result, a date or the actual time of an event is reviewed against official documents. The group name and the displayed dates are there for guidance. The only case the special bets rules spell out is snow at Christmas: the answer is read at the weather station of the city's main international airport, and Weather Underground has to confirm it by the end of January.
A Special bets question on the slip
A question can sit on the slip alone or join selections from other events, as long as none of them depends on another. A coupon has no single-sport rule, and the same accumulator takes a football line, a tennis line and a basketball line side by side.
The remaining groups of non-sporting questions are collected in the Special Bets section. Placing a stake takes a 1xBet account in Algerian dinars.
