Gold, columns and a seated king
The red, gold-framed grid stands inside a temple of golden columns surrounded by clouds, while a grey-haired king in a crown and red robe sits on his throne beside it. The premium symbols are all gold: a laurel-crowned female bust, a bowl of fruit, a lyre and a jewelled goblet. Four card suits cut like gemstones complete the set: a red spade, a purple heart, a green club and a blue diamond.
Three symbols play a separate role: the portrait of Midas labelled SCATTER, the golden hand in a medallion (the Special symbol) and the coin bearing a red W, which is the Wild.
How wins are counted
According to the game rules, each of the eight regular symbols pays for three, four or five of a kind on a line, starting from the leftmost reel. Only the highest win on each line is paid, and wins landing at the same time on different lines are added together.
The golden hand works differently: what it pays depends on how many hands are on the grid, from three to five.
Expanding Wild with multipliers
The Wild appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitutes for any regular symbol. When it lands, it may expand to fill the whole reel. In the Bonus Game it expands with a multiplier of x2, x3, x5 or x7, and the rules screen shows a WILD x2 coin next to the plain W.
Scatters and Free Spins
