Elven Hold and Win is a Winspinity slot played on a compact 3 × 3 grid. Nothing in its base game pays on its own, as there are no regular paying symbols: every win is settled in a respin bonus where coins lock in place, multipliers grow and four jackpots wait to be collected.
Nine cells under an elven guardian
A winged elf with pointed ears sits above the reels, framed by a forest glade lit in purple and gold, with butterflies drifting past. The GRAND, MAJOR, MINOR and MINI meters run along the top of the screen above the grid.
According to the game rules, ordinary spins pay nothing by themselves; their job is to unlock the bonus. Three symbols on an active line are enough, and a banner over the reels says exactly that. At the start the line selector reads 1 and only the middle row is lit. You can raise the number of active lines during the base game, which also raises the total bet. There is also a small chance that the Super Bonus Game opens instead of the standard one.
A Sticky Coin may drop at random on a regular spin. It stays fixed in its cell until the bonus begins, and its value ranges from 5x to 9x the total bet.
How the respin bonus works
During the bonus, every bonus symbol stays locked where it lands. You get three respins to begin with, and each fresh bonus symbol puts the counter back to three. When no respins remain, or when every cell is filled, the round is over.
Growing multipliers can appear at random in the regular bonus as well as in the Super Bonus Game. Each one places a random value between x1 and x9 on random cells; if two land on the same cell, their values add up. They take effect when the bonus ends, on the symbol value in their own cell. In the Super Bonus Game a random multiplier is more likely to trigger, and one is guaranteed before that round starts.
Coins, Mystery symbols and Coin Collect
The grid uses three kinds of coin:
Gold Coin (the orange coin with its value printed on it): between 1x and 4x the total bet;
Jackpot Coin: a Mini, Minor or Major symbol paying between 10x and 50x the total bet;
Sticky Coin: the one carried over from the base game, paying between 5x and 9x the total bet.
The purple butterfly marked MYSTERY turns into any other symbol except a Sticky Coin. A separate Mystery Jackpot symbol can only become a Mini, Minor or Major. Both reveal themselves one at a time after the bonus has finished.
Coin Collect sweeps up all coin and jackpot wins showing on the reels as soon as it lands. If multipliers are in play, they first boost what each Gold Coin, Sticky Coin and jackpot symbol is worth. Once it has collected, the symbol stays locked until the bonus is over.
