The Oil Barons: Betsoft's oilfield slot at 1xBet Algeria
The Oil Barons is a Betsoft Gaming slot set on a five-reel, five-row grid with 15 fixed paylines. The backdrop is an oilfield, and the action turns on FACE OFF symbols that convert a whole reel into a multiplying Wild, plus three bonus features: THE GUSHER, CONTRACT BID and STRUCK OIL.
Derricks and barons
A riveted iron frame holds the grid in front of derricks and pumpjacks fading into an orange haze. The premium symbols are a prospector in a hat with a cigar, an old moustached tycoon in a bowler, a derrick, a pocket watch and a cigar resting in an ashtray; the cards 10, J, Q, K and A fill out the set.
Lines and the Wild
Every line pays only its top win, and wins on separate lines are combined. The WILD can land on any reel and substitutes for everything except BONUS and FACE OFF symbols.
The FACE OFF duel
A FACE OFF symbol grows to cover its reel when, once expanded, it would form part of a win.
It then shows two multipliers, each one of thirteen values from 2x up to 100x, which face off until one remains.
That reel turns WILD carrying the surviving multiplier.
Multipliers on several reels are added together and applied to all line wins.
Three bonus features
Three or more GUSHER symbols in the base game start THE GUSHER with 3 free respins. Its first stage drops only WILDS and multipliers; each one collected resets the respins to three, up to 20 WILDS and a 31x multiplier. The second stage gives 3 free spins in which the collected WILDS are scattered at random and move on every spin, while the stored multiplier boosts the wins.
Three or more BID symbols open CONTRACT BID, 10 free spins in which FACE OFF symbols land more often. Three or more STRUCK OIL symbols open STRUCK OIL, 10 free spins with every WILD sticky. None of the three can be retriggered or started inside another, and all free spins use the bet of the triggering spin. The BUY BONUS button buys a feature directly.
The start screen advertises wins of up to 12,500x the bet. Betsoft's other titles are on the Betsoft Gaming page.
